Kedarnath temple is situated in the beautiful Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand – Rudraprayag in the lap of the Himalayas, Kedarnath Dham is a significant part of the Chardham Yatra. Kedarnath Dham is also one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Shiva. According to Hindu mythology, it is said that Kedarnath Dham was built by Pandavas to please Lord Shiva by doing forfeit in Kedarnath and relief from the guilt of killing their relatives. Lord Shiva was pursued by the Pandavas as he didn’t want to meet them and took the form of a bull. It is said that Kedarnath is the spot where Lord Shiva disappeared as a bull. On being known by the Pandavas, Lord Shiva dove underground from the spot, where Bheem could only manage to get hold of his hump. Other body parts of Shiva in the form of a bull showed up at different places. The temple at Kedarnath is said to be built at the spot where the hump of the bull is believed to have appeared.
The holy Dham of Lord Vishnu Badrinath is situated at a height of around 3100m, located in the lap of the Garhwal Himalayas near the bank of river Alaknanada. This holy town is located between the mountain ranges of Nar and Narayana. It is believed that in the 8th century sage Adi Shankaracharya built this temple. Apart from being a significant part of Chardham, Badrinath Dham is also one of the holy 108 Divya Desams which are devoted to Lord Vishnu, the sacred shrines for Vaishnavas (adored as Badrinath).

Due to government regulations, it is essential to change the helicopter at Guptkashi / Sersi / Phata and take the shuttle service to Kedarnath Dham. On arriving at the destination you will meet the ground staff members who will take you to a Kedarnath Temple. There, you will be provided with the slip for VIP darshan so that you can complete your darshan quickly, avoiding the long queue. Since the weather in Kedarnath remains uncertain, it is advised you complete your darshans within 1.5 hours and get back to the helipad.
The Badrinath Dham is just 1 km away from the helipad and from there our ground staff will take you to the temple by car for VIP darshan. Then, after completing the darshan, you will be taken back to the helipad to fly to your final destination Dehradun.
Note: The exact details of the Do Dham Yatra are given before the departure day. The above-mentioned things are tentative and can be changed according to the timing and operational system. Additionally, due to changes in weather or any operations things can be changed at the last minute also.
